If you’ve ever tuned in to a movie when it was half over, or started watching a TV series toward the end of a season, you know how confusing it can be: you watch a scene that you can tell is important, but you don’t understand why it matters. It’s hard to see the significance of plot twists when you don’t know the plot, or character development when you’re not familiar with the characters. Reading the Bible can be a lot like that: the significance of each part of the Bible is hard to see apart from a clear view of its overall storyline. Thankfully, all the main elements of the Bible’s story are introduced in its earlies chapters, and getting to know these chapters will help us understand everything that follows them.  Join us as we go back to Genesis 12- 24 this Spring at Harvest.”

Harvest Home has had an uptick in the number of clients sent to us by Love INC this year.  Currently, we are requesting donations of new or gently used twin, and full/queen comforters and quilts, and large, covered pots and large frying pans.  Your donations may be left at the Welcome Center on Sunday mornings, or at the church office on weekdays.  They will be greatly appreciated by the people in need that we serve.  

Also, we are looking for one or two more volunteers who might be available on the third Wednesday of the month (from about 10 am to 12:30 pm) to greet, listen to, and pray with clients, and gather their needed items.  We always try to work in teams of three.  Please call Karin Doyle 503-984-6340.  Thank you.

Camp Morrow in Wamic, Oregon

Water Ski Camp is our annual summer camp where students from Harvest come together to experience God through His Word, music, games, each other, and extremely fun water sports. It is an opportunity for us to take advantage of summer uniquely. Great things happen at camps like this when leaders and students can escape everyday life. This camp is for students entering the 2026-2027 school year as 7th-12th graders, plus 2026 graduates.

The Men's Roundup Christian conference is a men’s camping retreat held in a forested mountaintop setting at Camp Tadmor in Lebanon, Oregon where men are encouraged to believe, obey, connect, and lead. This year's main speaker is Dr. Chris Harper, and the worship leader is Tim Smith.
